Investors are expressing dissatisfaction with the responses provided during this critical time. Although Gelsinger&#8217;s leadership saw stock performance falter, his background as the former chief technology officer and CEO of VMware appeared to make him a fitting candidate for the role.<\/p>\n<p>The timing of this leadership shakeup is particularly perplexing, especially since Gelsinger had recently outlined a significant restructuring strategy in August.
